Yasser B. Abulhasan, MBChB, FRCPC, is an assistant professor of Anesthesiology at Kuwait University. He received his medical degree from Aberdeen University in Scotland, and did his anesthesiology residency training at McGill University. He then completed a dual fellowship in neuroanethesiology and neurocritical care at the Montreal Neurological Institute and Hospital. His current research interests include aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage and neurocritical care patient-related outcomes. Dr. Abulhasan currently holds an adjunct professorship appointment at the Montreal Neurological Institute and Hospital, McGill University and serves on the Neurocritical Care Society Board of Directors. As a member of the Currents Editorial Board, Dr. Abulhasan is the section editor for the Middle East/Africa - International Section.
