Wazim Mohamed, MD

NCS-Editorial-Board__9_.pngWazim Mohamed, MD, is associate professor of Neurology and Neurosurgery at Wayne State University in Detroit. He also serves as associate program director of the neurology residency program at Detroit Medical Center/Wayne State University. Dr. Mohamed is also a neurointensivist at Detroit Receiving Hospital, a level I trauma center with a closed neurotrauma and critical care neurology unit. Dr. Mohamed earned his medical degree from Kasturba Medical College (Manipal University) in India, and completed his vascular neurology and neurocritical care fellowships at Wayne State University. Dr. Mohamed supports the literature review (NEWS) section for Currents, which entails tracking and reviewing peer-reviewed publications on a monthly basis
