Kimberly Levasseur-Franklin, PharmD, earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Boston. She then completed a PGY1 pharmacy residency at UMass Memorial Medical Center (2003-2004) followed by a PGY2 critical care pharmacy residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Pharmacy and University of Illinois Medical Center (2004-2005). She has also achieved and maintained board certifications as a Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS: 2006 – present) and Certified Critical Care Pharmacist (BCCCP: 2015- present). She is currently a clinical pharmacy manager for critical care and emergency medicine pharmacy services at Tufts Medical Center in Boston. Dr. Levasseur-Franklin is the pharmacist member on the Editorial Board for Currents and has served in this capacity since 2014. She works with NCS’ pharmacist members to develop article submissions revolving around neurocritical care medication therapies or controversies, pharmacist practice within the United States and internationally, and any other neurocritical care pharmacy-related topics that may arise while working with the Pharmacy Leadership Committee.
