LaBuzetta

Jamie LaBuzetta, MD, MSc, MPhil, is an internationally trained clinician researcher. She completed her medical training at UC San Diego and did post-graduate research studies at both Oxford and Cambridge Universities in England. After completing her neurology residency training at Partners (MGH and Brigham) in Boston, she returned to UC San Diego for a neurocritical care fellowship and has remained on faculty at UC San Diego in the Department of Neurosciences since completing her fellowship in 2016. She has authored articles and books on ethics and decision-making, and her current research interests focus on Post-intensive Care Syndrome, including the risk factors that might be modified to improve outcomes in patients with acute brain injury.
