2023 NCS Annual Meeting: Pharmacy Highlight
Published on: July 24, 2023
As the NCS 21st Annual Meeting quickly approaches, it is important to be prepared so that you do not miss any of the quality content that is currently scheduled. It is inspiring to see such great representation from NCS pharmacist members — from presenting late breaking science to leading controversial debates and moderating roundtables — there is plenty to learn from! Whether you are in training or an experienced practitioner, there is a pharmacy session to help expand your pharmacology knowledge base. Starting with the Late Breaking Science Concurrent Session, Dr. Casey May and colleagues will present their latest publication addressing optimal antiplatelet strategies for neuroendovascular stents. Be sure not to miss the heated debate on the use of ketamine for refractory status epilepticus moderated by Dr. Eljim Tesoro. If you would like to attend a session that encompasses several complex topics in neurocritical care pharmacy, be sure not to miss “Hot Topics in Neurocritical Care Pharmacotherapeutics” on Friday, August 18th. Many of these sessions will qualify for nursing pharmacotherapy CE. Do not forget to check Twitter to engage in conversation about NCS Annual Meeting content! #NCS2023 #NCSPharmacy
